At that time, we (Shawn, Sam, and Vickie) were working as in-house IT support for an industrial construction company.
We began by selling custom software to other businesses.
It didn’t take long to move from custom software installation to dealing with those new client’s break/fix issues.
By 1999, we were in our own facility with five employees – offering website hosting, website development, phone systems, and dial-up internet service.
But we soon discovered that we had a problem, but a good one! We were beginning to outgrow our facility and needed a larger place to accommodate more staff.
In March of 2002, we moved to a larger facility that would house our growing team of twenty staff members.
By the time 2004 rolled around, we had opened a new office in Orange, TX providing all the same services we offered in Lake Charles, LA.
Hurricane Rita hit us with a vengeance in 2005. Both of our locations were evacuated, and by the time the hurricane was over, our Lake Charles, LA office was left without a roof (you could see blue sky from inside the office) our Orange, TX office was flooded with two feet of water.
We rallied quickly and moved our TX office to Nederland where it resides today and after a few temporary locations, moved our Lake Charles office eventually to our current location.
Despite these setbacks, our business has continued to grow and evolve with the technology landscape. Today, we have 39 great people working with us, and we’ve added Infrastructure and IT Service departments to support our awesome clients all over the country.
